Went in there on August 22 looking for a carburetor adjustment tool for a stihl weed eater and a guy on floor told me the parts counter had them but when I went back there, there were 3 guys back there I told them what I needed the one young guy looked at me like I was crazy then looked at the older man and I was told oh they don’t have them that stihl will not let them have them tools. It wasn’t 5 minutes prior to me going back there another person asked for one and somebody back there was telling that customer oh no you need to bring you weed eater in so we can adjust the carburetor because people don’t know how to do it. Not sure what’s going on there but a dang good way to loose customers

Always choose my local Ace hardware store over the big box stores. Since I had two fractued toes and unable to drive and had a friend's grandson to help out, I placed an order for cypress blend mulch, plus several other items that brought my total to over $100. So I used a $20 coupon and Ace rewards of $5 and paid for everything conveniently online. It turned out it was not in their inventory and no other cypress was showing online and instead they sent a receipt with a $5 reward applied for the remaining items, and issued a credit for the mulch that showed up immediately in my bank account. Although no alternative was given or phone call. So I called and said I was coming over to cancel the order so I can pick out another mulch and use my $25 credit. Since they already pulled these items I requested they keep them upfront and I would pay for everything at once to get the discount and pick out a mulch. The order was cancelled. Come to find out from the manager Ben, there was a another cypress available that they source more locally in NC, which I like. It is not an Ace product and a lot cheaper and a good quality, but not online. However, my $25 credit vanished into the system o

My wife has been a regular at Overstreet Hardware for several years but I have only today been there for the first time. And now I know why. Their inventory is comparable to many of the big box hardware stores with the addition of local products and a strong hometown feeling. Virginia helped us today and knew immediately where to take us for what we were looking for. Kudos to her and the entire staff who all welcomed us when we entered the store. Great experience!

Exceptional customer service. They have a huge selection of screws and bolts, which are hard to find. They have party rentals. A huge selection of BBQ grills.
